The Symbiotic Computing Laboratory is dedicated to the study of the symbiotic relationships between humans and machines. Our work sits at the intersection of machine learning, robotics, computational neuroscience, biological motor control and the analysis of biological data. In particular, we examine:
- machines as models of how biological systems represent and learn motor and cognitive skills,
- primates as inspiration for new robot control and learning techniques,
- the interaction of humans with machines, and
- the use of machine learning tools model and analyze biological and other data.
